This group of Calgary and Area physicians affirm that fluoridation is a foundational public health measure to prevent dental disease and improve oral health. Fluoridation offers significant benefit with very low risk and reaches all residents who are connected to a municipal water supply.

The Calgary and Area Medical Staff Society (CAMSS) is an independent medical staff voice that represents practitioners working in Alberta Health Services - Zone 5 (which is Calgary and the surrounding areas). Its membership includes both hospital and community-based physicians, dentists, maxillofacial surgeons, podiatrists, clinical assistants, scientists and medical administrative leaders who have an AHS medical staff appointment.
